Views of Kingston

How to use the Viewer

Here we have a panorama of Kingston and the Elham Valley for you to play with. When you first open this page the Zoom Viewer will appear. You will then need to wait about 1 minute for the picture to load. The view will automatically scan from left to right and back. To stop the scanning, place your cursor anywhere on the picture and left click once. To zoom out left click the - (minus) sign, then move your cursor onto the picture, and left click the mouse button. To zoom in left click the + (plus) sign, then move your cursor onto the picture, and left click the mouse button. To view to the left, right, up, or down, left click the directional arrows symbol. To view to the left, place your cursor roughly in the centre of the picture, and hold the left mouse button down. Dragging further to the left will speed up the scan. Dragging to the right will slow it down. Get the idea? You can do the same to view towards the right, or up and down. To re-start auto scan left click the button displaying the square symbol.
